Daisy Ouya is a science writer, editor and communications specialist. Over the last 15 years she has packaged and disseminated scientific knowledge for diverse audiences in the fields of agroforestry, entomology, agriculture, health, HIV/AIDS research, and marine science. Daisy is a Board-certified Editor in the Life Sciences (www.bels.org) and has a Masters’ degree in Chemistry from the University of Connecticut, USA. Her BSc, Chemistry (First Class Hons) is from the University of Nairobi in her native country, Kenya. She currently works as Communications Manager with AVAC, a New York-based NGO that works to accelerate the ethical development and global delivery of HIV prevention tools.
